The project

The Camí des Calvari in Ibiza Town will undergo a complete remodelling that will affect both its visible and underground infrastructures. Currently in poor condition, with no sewage system and poor lighting, this road connects points of strategic interest such as Dalt Vila, Es Soto and the future Parador Nacional.

The project includes the installation of new water supply, sewage and rainwater networks, improvements to the road surface and pavement, as well as the addition of LED street lighting. A charging point for electric vehicles is also planned, in line with energy efficiency and emission reduction targets.

Shaded seating areas, low water consumption green spaces, a viewpoint overlooking the sea, and a square equipped with recycled plastic street furniture will also be installed. All this contributes to environmental and urban improvement with clear benefits for public health, mobility and air quality.

Beyond the physical work, the initiative responds to local demands and will create local jobs during its execution. With a budget of €2.5 million, this transformation is also expected to boost economic and tourism activity throughout the year, thus better integrating the city with its natural and cultural heritage.
