The Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa) is an entity that incorporates and promotes research and scientific knowledge in the field of health that has a direct impact on improving the health of the population, and has been generated in the Balearic Islands. It is a young institution, and effort is required if it is to have its own research structure capable of stimulating high-level research and establishing itself as a benchmark centre at both national and international level.
Through this project, talented researchers and managers will be recruited at different stages of their careers, through the implementation of the TECH, JUNIOR, FOLIUM and GESTIÓ programmes.
This will consist of a call for applications for four positions for research support technicians for a period of 36 months. The successful applicants will join IdISBa research groups.
This will establish the call for applications for five pre-doctoral contracts in the field of health research at the IdISBa, with a period of 48 months for the completion of a doctoral thesis.
This will offer four junior postdoctoral 24-month contracts for incorporation into IdISBa research groups on the one hand, and on the other, it invite applications for the recruitment of three senior postdoctoral researchers for a 36-month period. Candidates will need to present a research project within the framework of the IdISBa's health research lines.
This will involve the recruitment of three people with research experience whose duties will include contributing to the identification of external funding opportunities and the writing and monitoring of research proposals among other tasks. In addition, this programme includes the incorporation of an administrative assistant to support project management.
In general terms, the CONCIENCIA IdISBa project is aligned with the Baleares Medtech axis, which is committed to investment in research and innovation in the
biomedical and biotechnological fields, and contributes to the economic diversification of the Balearic Islands.
