The Sustainable Tourism Tax (known as ITS) is applied to anyone staying at tourist accommodation on the Balearic Islands. The tax makes it possible to invest in environmental and cultural projects, in research, in improving the social conditions of the islands’ inhabitants, in achieving full sustainability of the destination and providing a better environs and better services for both our visitors and residents.
